Ranking Rules & Mechanics
Everything you need to know about how Bidit positions and prices work.
Core Transparency Statement:
- Rankings on Bidit are paid position rankings.
- Positions do not represent follower count, influence, engagement, quality, or endorsement by any social platform.
- Users pay to take specific leaderboard positions and outbid competitors.
- Each successful takeover increments the next takeover price for that position by at least +$1.00.
1. How Takeovers Work
You can choose any specific position (e.g. #1, #3, #10). When your payment is confirmed:
- You immediately occupy the chosen position.
- The previous occupant and all lower ranked profiles automatically shift down by 1 spot (#3 becomes #4, #4 becomes #5, etc.).
- Higher ranked positions are completely unaffected.
2. One Profile, One Position
A social profile can occupy at most one position per social platform. If you are currently at #8 and decide to take #3:
- Your previous position (#8) is vacated.
- The gap is compactly closed (#9 shifts to #8, #10 to #9).
- You are placed at #3, shifting current #3 downward.
- Your previously spent amount is automatically applied as an Upgrade Credit toward the new position!
3. Reservation & Concurrency Lock
When you proceed to checkout, the position is locked for 5 minutes under a secure quote. If you complete payment within this window, the spot is guaranteed. If payment is not completed in 5 minutes, the reservation expires and becomes available to others.
4. No Affiliation Disclaimer
Bidit is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, Threads, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Google, LinkedIn, or Telegram.
